Backlit Polyester Media

A high quality backlit film.  When profiled correctly the final image quality looks as if it has been produced photographically on a Durst Lambda.  This front print backlit features a 175 micron polyester film with a satin ink jet coating that works with dye and pigmented inks.  With pigmented inks an optical desity of >3 can be achieved resulting in deep intense blacks with no show through.  The advanced top coating offers good resistance to both water and fingerprinting but for ultimate protection our DigiGuard laminates can be used and if you really want to ensure the highest quality image for both day and night advertising we would recommend an ultra clear gloss laminate such as our AG2-30.  UHFB7 is also available up to 1524mm wide unlike Lambda prints.

A reverse print gloss clear polyester for backlit applications with a white translucent inkjet coating for reverse printing that acts as a diffuser for illuminated applications.  Printing in reverse automatically protects the image, eliminating the need for an overlaminate.  RF8 is for dye inks only so suitable for older printers such as the HP5500 and HP5000.
