Polypropylene Films

A low cost polypropylene film.  Universal coating, so it prints well on the latest generation of pigmented ink printers.  A tear resistant alternative to photo papers with an outdoor life performance of 1 month.  As covered elsewhere polypropylene is considered to be a more environmentally responsible alternative to other popular synthetics.

A semi-gloss PP film primarily for roll-ups on older printers such as the HP5500 and HP5000.  Good tear strength and quite opaque but not a block out product.  Polypropylene is one of the easiest  plastics to recycle making this a film a better environmental solution than polyester or PVC.  Works superbly on dye based printers.  If you require lamination then we would recommend using our TP5-20 polypropylene textured scratch resistant overlaminate with a water based adhesive, as it makes the final polypropylene sandwich easier to dispose of in the normal recycling chain.  A large quantity of PP material is recycled in the UK and this has been estimated as being at lease 25,000 tonnes per annum.  The recycling code for PP is number 5.  If recycling is not an issue then our TV3-60/TV5-70  textured PVC films can be used as the overlaminate.
