Cast Vinyls for Solvent Printing

JAC D9000 series 7 year high performance long life cast films

Primarily designed for vehicle wrapping, D9110 is a 50 micron 'no memory' cast vinyl, and is suitable for even the most demanding applications.  The D9110 white cast film features a grey mid tack permanent adhesive on a 140gsm PE coated release liner.  This mid tack adhesive makes wrapping easier by allowing you to quickly pull the film back from the vehicle and re-apply if required.  It is vital what whoever is applying the film be trained properly as the application and techniques are not the same as for applying more standard vinyls.  As a general rule the vinyl should be heated to 45 - 55 degress C whilst conforming around the irregular shape and then the critical areas should be reheated to 80 - 90 degrees C to stabilise permanently and eliminate the applied tension to the film.  The base film D9110 needs to be left to dry for 24 - 48 hours prior to lamination.  To help the solvents evaporate the material should be left to dry loosely wound on the core.  The matched clear cast laminate for the D9110 cast wrap film is L9130 clear cast which is only 30 micron thick and suitable for deep recesses.  This thinner cast film is easier to mould into deep profiles such as the deep body recesses on Sprinter type vans but still needs to be reheated up to a temperature of 80 - 90 degress C.  If heat is required in the lamination process then it mus only be in the 20 - 30 degree C region.
