Glazing and Building Plastic and Materials
Our wide range of industrial plastics and materials are used by both the glazing and building industries.
We supply safe and shatterproof clear plastics for replacement glazing, secondary glazing, anti vandal and security glazing and any suitable situation where traditional glass products can pose a potential danger. For example in a food factory, where breakage or contamination would cause expensive problems and other applications where glass clarity is required, using products that are much stronger. These could be for machine guards and employee protection, lighting covers, light diffusers, vision panels, display boxes or notice board covers.
We also sell obsured / patterned plastic materials for privacy. Suitable uses include toilet windows, shower room windows and partitioned walls.
Anti-vandal glazing is used in areas that are susceptable to frequent breakage and a more permanent solution is required, for example, vacant buildings, kiosks and bus shelter glazing. Secure applications where transparent, tough unbreakable materials are required for contents and personnel protection.
A cost effective method of secondary glazing would be to use clear acrylic sheet material, fixed to the existing single glazed frames, using either mechanical fixings or our magnetic metallic 12.0mm wide two-part strip system.
We offer clear P.V.C. products that are ideal for glazing in public buildings, industrial structures, sports halls, youth centres and schools. P.V.C. sheets combine optical clarity together with mechanical, physical, thermal features and excellent chemical resistance, offering many advantages to their users.
In addition to our wide selection of glazing plastics and products, we supply clear plastic roofing sheets for buildings and halls, stadium roofing, skylights, patios, conservatories, covered walkways and lean-to-structures. Our product range also includes aluminium / P.V.C. glazing bars and accessories.
We supply a full range of hygienic sheet and profile cladding products for walls and ceilings, suitable for lining sterile preparation / storage rooms, chillers, commercial kitchens and general food processing areas.
Cladding provides high impact strength, is impervious to liquids, withstands repeated washing, offers excellent resistance to most chemicals / detergents, will not discolour and is easily cut and shaped using conventional workshop equipment and hand tools. It is ideal for any application where a non-toxic, hard wearing product that has a suitable fire rating, is required.
We also supply plastics that are used in balustrades for stairwells, that meet the UK government fire regulations and requirements.
